JEFFREY ZIENTS is chief executive officer of The Cranemere Group Limited, a diversified holding company. Prior to Cranemere, Zients served in the Obama administration as director of the National Economic Council, acting director of the Office of Management and Budget, and was responsible for spearheading the technology turnaround of healthcare.gov. Before serving in government, Zients built and led several high performing organizations across a 20-year career in business. He served as chairman, CEO, and chief operating officer of The Advisory Board and chairman of the Corporate Executive Board. During his tenure, these companies created more than $2 billion in equity value for shareholders. Jeff also founded Portfolio Logic, an investment firm primarily focused on business and health-care services companies. Zients is a co-founder of The Urban Alliance Foundation, a nonprofit organization that partners with corporations to provide economically disadvantaged youth with job training. Zients is a member of the Board of Directors of Facebook, a director of the Biden Cancer Initiative, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Zients began his career as a consultant with Bain & Company and graduated summa cum laude from Duke University.
